Black Humboldt is a volunteer run organization, operated by Black & Brown identifying community members of Humboldt County, past & present.

Black Humboldt is working to sustain and maintain community organizing that operates outside of white supremacy and white supremacy characteristics that uphold systematic racism and inequalities. through this restructuring we are implementing new strategies for structuring and approach in direct responses to the ever changing political conditions faced by black & brown identities.

Black Humboldt operates with an “open door” policy and leans on the influence of our community members and leaders to shape programming and offerings.

Black Humboldt wants to give a very special thank you to our wonderful, community dream team!!

A group of Black and Brown community members that have helped Black Humboldt continue to serve and best represent our beautiful Black community!

Black Humboldt has an open door policy and we encourage our Black & brown community to organize, educate and mobilize themselves to, in turn, continue the work being done on their own terms in their own ways.

Everyone is welcome to help Black Humboldt grow and maintain relevance to what the Black & Brown communities need. We encourage our community to analyze their current barriers and create solutions and opportunities for growth, to combat those barriers through events for us & By us!
