Juneteenth Day Festival 2024

We can’t wait to celebrate Juneteenth and our Cultural Festival with a day party at Halvorsen Park featuring Black and Brown artists, vendors, performances and guest speakers!! This year will also host a Black and Green zone, a Hip Hop Zone, a Kids’ Zone and a number of free workshops! More details below

 

How to get here && where to park…..

FROM SOUTHERN HUMBOLDT

Merge onto US-101 N

Travel North until you reach Broadway Drive in Eureka also know as US-101 N

Turn left onto 4th Street - US-101 N continues

Turn right onto L Street

Turn left onto Waterfront Drive and continue for about 0.3 miles.

Halvorsen Park will be on your right.

FROM NORTHERN HUMBOLDT

Head south on US-101 S (also called Redwood Highway) from Arcata.

Continue on US-101 S

Take the exit for Downtown/4th Street in Eureka

Take Exit 701B toward 4th Street (CA-255 S)

Merge onto 4th Street

Turn right onto M Street

Turn left onto Waterfront Drive

Halvorsen Park will be on your right

BIKE ROUTE

Start at The Eureka Bike kitchen

-California st and  (share the road)

-6th or 7th st (bike lane)

-H st (not part of the bike map)

-1st - Waterfront drive (Bike Lane) / 

Halvorsen Park FINAL POINT

We will have support from the bike kitchen with free bike maintenance for the community and fresh snacks.
